At Bredgränd 4 in Gamla Stan, we have reworked our own office within the building’s existing structure and historical context.

Small, precise interventions restored the original character of the rooms. Ceilings were raised and the original timber structure exposed, clarifying both construction and the proportions typical of Gamla Stan’s historic fabric.

The work on our office later informed a broader renovation of the building, where the same approach was applied across all floors.

The project reflects our working method: reading and working with what is already there. Careful adjustments can clarify spatial qualities and reveal existing value.
